The Perko Project is a lifelong personal endeavor to promote the extreme importance of understanding history in all its manifestations and how that history informs our future.
Phase I begins with History’s Greatest Lies and Myths―the podcast for the curious. The innovative podcast will be available online, worldwide beginning in late Spring of 2021.
Given the temper of our time, when everything is moving in a helter-skelter fashion, and when certain elements of society are bent on changing history or cancelling it . . . the HGLAM podcast comes to the rescue. It will save every listener from the perilous ignorance that results from not knowing history.
Moreover, endless studies and books have shown that “people often know what isn’t so”―to their detriment. So because “history is very often lies agreed upon,” and because “the winners frequently write history, but rarely make it,” and because philosopher George Santayana said, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it,” getting history right is paramount to establishing the “TRUTH.”
